The Beginning
Two Careers, Two Countries
In her home country, Divya had a business degree and had spent many years working in the financial industry. When she moved to Canada, she started from scratch.
She found work as a cleaner and stayed in that job for many years. Most people would have seen it as a stopgap, but Divya loved her work. She was reliable and took real pride in doing the job well. Her background in finance stayed on the shelf.
The Challenge

A leg injury made it impossible for Divya to keep cleaning. The physical work she had done every day for years was suddenly out of the question.
