Reporting

Monthly Progress Reports:

Pathways Educational Services issues monthly computerized reports as a means of communicating student progress to the student, as well as third party stakeholders. These reports provide a detailed profile of student progress in specific skill areas. The student’s record of attendance is also reflected on the report. Reports are provided to both the student and any third party stakeholders.

Monthly meetings are scheduled by third party stakeholders so that the teacher, consultant and student can speak directly with one another about the student’s progress. Consultants may reserve a room designated for client meetings. These well-appointed rooms provide a quiet, private space for meetings. Consultants may reserve a meeting room by phone, email or online.

Outside of the scheduled meetings, Pathways’ staff is available to consultants via telephone, email or in person during the client’s scheduled class time.

Other Reporting:

Attendance: Students are required to contact Pathways and their Vocational Consultant in the event that they will be absent from class. .

Homework: Students are expected to perform to the best of their ability and work towards their individual goals; this includes completing all homework as assigned. Homework alerts will be generated at the instructor’s discretion.

Standardized tests are administered to academic and ESL students by Ontario Certified Teachers on a quarterly basis at no additional cost. The results of standardized tests are included in the regular monthly reports.
